June - 5 July 2006. Chinese U-20
Women's National Team visited the US and Canada
for a series of training and matches as
the preparation for the FIFA U-20 Women's World
Championship in August - September in Russia,
where China won the Runner-ups and captain Ma Xiaoxu
clutched both the Adidas Golden Shoe and Golden
Ball awards while the goalkeeper Zhang Yanru
brought home the Silver Ball award.
USSM took care the US part. The training camp
was set in the PDA center in New Jersey. The team
played the US U-20 National Team twice and paid
a visit to the city of New York.
