  • Dubai Football Challenge

10-12 January2008, Dubai UAE. Chinese National Team will play UAE National Team and Hamburg SV on 10 & 12 January 2008 at Dubai Football Challenge 2008 which is being held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Sports Council, and is being organized by the Dubai Dept of Tourism and Commerce Marketing. These matches are considered very important for team China before the FIFA 2010 World Cup Asia qualifying campaign which kick off on 6 Febuary 2008.

 
  • Bundesliga China Challenge

18-20 December 2007, China. Deutsche Fußball Liga GmbH (DFL) sent Energie Cottbus to China as a part of the Bundesliga Asia promotional campaign. USSM organized the event which included two matches with Chinese Olympic Team and Chinese National Team in southern province Guangdong. Energie's Chinese player Shao Jiayi is no doubt the most welcome star whose team finished a 1:1 draw and a 2:0 victory. The event also consisted many social and charity activities and both matches were broadcast live on CCTV.

 
 
  • Port of Rotterdam Tournament

4-5 August 2007, Rotterdam. The Port of Rotterdam Tournament took place at De Kuip Stadium. As an Official Tournament Partner, USSM brought in Shanghai Shenhua FC to join three European powerhouses Liverpool, FC Porto and the host Feyenoord. Four teams representing four world famous port cities to compete in two double-head nights as the Port of Rotterdam celebrating its 75th anniversary. Although Shenhua lost both matches, the team gained good experiences playing with the bests in the business. As coach Osvaldo Giminez said: "Chinese football is a sleeping giant. We are here to show our best side here."

 
  • International Matches

June 2007, USA. Both Chinese Men's & Women's National Team toured USA for series friendly matches and training camps. The Men's NT played US NT in San Jose, Real Salt Lake in Salt Lake City and Colorado Rapids in Denver while and Women's NT faced Skyblue Soccer in New Jersey & US WNT in Cleveland. USSM organized and promoted 3 of the 5 games. The teams saw these matches important as the MNT was in final preparations for the 2007 Asian Cup co-hosted by four Southeast nations in July and the WNT continued improving under new Coach and getting ready for the FIFA Women's World Cup in September at home.

 
  • Strength & Conditioning Coach

June 2007, UK-US-China. The setback to Thailand in May impelled the Chinese FA's decision to find the Men's National Team a Strength & Conditioning Coach to deal with the high temperature and humid in Southeast Asia during the Asian Cup in July. USSM was called urgently to locate a qualified professional. Paul Winsper, with 10 years experiences in the top Premier League club Newcastle, was invited to Denver on a very short notice. Paul and his colleague Nick Grantham were now members of the Chinese Men's Nation Team's squad for the 2007 Asian Cup.

  • SIFT 2006

4-6 August 2006, Shanghai Hong Kou Stadium. The exciting prospect of three world class club sides, including Manchester City FC, club Atletico de Madrid and Kashima Antlers, competing against top China Super League club Shanghai Shenhua provided a festival of football in the Shanghai Hong Kou Stadium. The Tournament had two double-headed evenings and is with both national and global TV spectacle in 115 countries with audiences reaching hundreds of millions. Atletico won the tournament and Fernando Torres is named the MVP.

  • SIFT 2005

27-30 July 2005. Budweiser 2005 Shanghai International Football Tournament took place in Shanghai Stadium. Three Spanish Primera Division clubs Villarreal, Sevilla, Real Zaragoza and Shanghai United - the local all-star team selected by fans online participated the event. Sevilla defeated Villarreal 2:0 in the final and won the Bud Cup. As the mega annual event USSM organizes, aside with SMG and SFA, the organization determined to bring the tradition and prestige back to SIFT and show the world a dynamic developing Shanghai.

  • Fan Activity

26 July 2005. Budweiser sponsored both SIFT in Shanghai and Man. United match in Beijing. USSM designed the "Budweiser Cup Football Night" on the day before the SIFT's kickoff in one of Shanghai's landmark sites Xintiandi. About 200 Budweiser's guests and customers enjoyed the chill beer while watching the Spanish dance performance and Man-U's Beijing match live broadcast on jumbo screen and . The appearances of SIFT star Diego Forlan, Fan Zhiyi, Zhang Yuning, Yu Tao and Sun Ji pushed the party to the climaxes while hundreds of fans enjoyed a unforgettable summer night.

  • Team China

11-20 January 2007, Huelva Spain. For the first time, USSM organized a training camp for the Chinese National A Team in the beautiful southern Spain town. Three matches were played during the course against Bundesliga sides Aminia Bielefeld and Borussia Monchengladbach and the local La Liga club Recreativo Huelva, which was also a beneficial match to commemorate the victims in an accident occurred in Dec. 2006 which caused 4 Huelva fans' death and many injuries.

  • International Match

1-8 February 2005. Danish Women's National A Team played two friendly matches with Chinese WNT in Yiwu, Zhejiang Province. Denmark , currently No. 7 on FIFA world ranking, took this trip as a part of an ambitious preparation plan for the coming UEFA European Championships in England in June 2005. For Chinese, it's also a perfect exhibit opportunity after new coach Wang's taking over 6 weeks ago. USSM organized and coordinated the tour.
  • Friendly Matches

30 June - 5 July 2006. Chinese U-20 Women's National Team visited the US and Canada for a series of training and matches as preparation for the FIFA U-20 Women's World Championship in August - September in Russia, where China won the Runner-ups and captain Ma Xiaoxu clutched both the Adidas Golden Shoe and Golden Ball awards while the goalkeeper Zhang Yanru brought home the Silver Ball award. USSM took care the training camp was set in the PDA center in New Jersey.

  • International Match

4-11 April 2004. Invited by US Soccer Federation, USSM hosts China U-19 Women's National Team for Philips Lighting International Tournament held in Home Depot Center in Carson, California. Local Chinese media reported the team activities.  Congratulations to coach Wang Haiming and his girls for finishing 2nd place in Asia U-19 Championship 2 months after the US trip and qualifying for November's FIFA U-19 Women's World Championship in Thailand.
  • Training Camp in China

1-13 August 2004. Invited by US Soccer Federation, USSM and Shanghai Football Association organized a training camp for US U-19 Women's National Team in Shanghai, China to prepare for November's FIFA U-19 World Championship. The team played two practice matches with China U-19 WNT on 10th and 12th. Off the field, girls had a great time shopping, touring the city, visiting the West Lake in Hang Zhou & watched a Barcelona FC's commercial match. US U-19 finished 3rd place in FIFA U-19 Women's World Championship in Thailand.

  • Sport Facility

5 June 2004. Completion of subcontract with the newly built Shanghai International Circuit. The project is to provide and install near 30,000 seats on the Grandstand of SIC which is designed by German architectures. Chairs are made by French company Grosfillex. Shanghai International Circuit had its first race competition on June 6 and successfully held the first ever 2004 Chinese Grand Prix (Formula 1) on 26 September. Ferrari and Barrichello won the race while famous Michael Schumacher didn't finish, surprisingly.
  • Training Camp in USA

1-20 January 2004. USSM hosted the winter training camp for the 9 years consecutive national champion and the No. 1 women's football club from China, the Shanghai SVA Women's FC.  The club toured Los Angeles, Las Vegas, San Francisco and Hawaii. Besides the regular training sessions, the team played four close-door matches, including one with the US U-19 National Team in Home Depot Center. The group also visited local tourist attractions and had a lot of fun at the Disneyland, Pearl Harbor and Waikiki beach.

  • TV Program

19 June 2004. The new version of TV talk show "Tang Meng Focus", co-produced by USSM and SMG, Shanghai TV Station GreatSports Channel, sponsored by Budweiser, is broadcasted. The first three episodes focused on Euro 2004. "Tang Meng Focus" is a famous sport program in Shanghai and China for its unique vision and professional opinion from the host, Mr. Tang Men and covers the hottest sports topic and sportsperson in China. The program is broadcasted every week on STV Sports and Dragon TV.

 
  • Commercial Match

26 May 2005. Shanghai Hongkou Football Stadium. Jorg "Ali" Albertz's Shanghai farewell game attracted 12,000 crowds to the friendly match between Shanghai Shenhua SVA and Budesliga side HSV. The former captain and 2003 China Player of the Year played one half for each side and gave a moving speech to the enthusiasm fans at the half time. USSM took over the match organizing two weeks before the match day and managed to accomplish the "Mission Impossible" with a lot credit and respect from both clubs, the Shanghai FA and the sponsors.

  • Sponsorship

12-13 October 2005. The 10th National Games of China took part in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province. Shanghai TV GreatSports Channel sent a 100 person reporting crew to cover the event. USSM secured Diadora China as the uniform sponsor of the crew. Diadora clothing appeared on fields, in IBC, and more importantly the sponsor's logo was also shown on all four daily sports news and massive broadcasts.  As the highest level sports competition in China, the National Games are also called China's Olympics and attract millions of audiences. Another example of the successful marketing practice of a sports brand.

 
  • Youth Football Camp

17-20 July 2005. USSM hosted a short summer training camp for the Australian youth football club Woden Valley FC. The U-15 girl's team played the Shanghai Women's U-16 Team in Shanghai Sports School on July 19th. The team took part in the traditional annual youth football event - the Dana Cup 2005 in Hjorring Denmark immediately after the short stay in Shanghai. The group of 36 including players, coaches, staff and parents also had a great time visiting the city.
  • Training Camp in Australia

14-25 January 2005. USSM organized a training camp again for Chinese national champion, Shanghai SVA Women's FC who just won the Grand-Slam in China, in Australia. The group of 29 visited city of Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane. SVA played Australian Women's National A team in Canberra twice and brought home one winning and one lose. The team took this tour as a part of preparation of the 10th Chinese National Games football tournament finals in fall 2005 in Jiang Su.
